Did you know the flying squirrel can glide up to more than 50 feet? They don't call the flying squirrel a "flying" squirrel because it flies, it just really glides, but it looks like they are flying.
this is really interesting information. I would love to be ablel to jump out of a tree and glide all over the place. I would glide very quietly over people's head and then shout and scare them.
This is very interesting Ethan. I guess if the bat is the only flying mammal the flying squirrel is the only gliding mammal. This reminds me of the guys who glide in the cities with special gliding suits.
